Quick answers to the things we get asked most.
Can you match a colour without a code?
Usually, yes. Bring in a panel, fuel flap or mirror cap and we will match to the part rather than the chart. The smaller and flatter the sample, the better the match.
How long does a custom mix take?
A standard colour is normally mixed while you wait at the counter. Colours needing a match from a sample take longer — we will give you a realistic time when you enquire.
Do I need a trade account to buy?
No. Anyone can order. A trade account gets you pricelist pricing and VAT-exclusive display by default, but the catalogue is open to everyone.
Why are prices shown excluding VAT?
Because most of our customers are costing jobs, not paying at a till. Use the Exc/Inc VAT toggle in the top bar to switch — it applies across the whole site and remembers your choice.
Can you deliver welding gas?
No. Gas cylinders are collection only from the Coventry counter — they cannot be sent by carrier.
What do I need to buy number plates?
Proof of your identity and proof that you are entitled to the registration, usually the V5C, a new keeper slip or a certificate of entitlement. We are legally required to check both.
