Octobase Basecoat System The Octobase System is a high-quality basecoat for automotive refinishing, designed to be finished with a clear coat. With 25% fewer mixing colours than comparable systems, it reduces stock and investment. Suitable for solid, metallic, and pearl/mica finishes. Mixing Ratio: 1:1 with Uni Thinner (TA900–TA960) Application: 2–3 coats, 15–25 µm; mist coat recommended for effect colours Dry Time (20°C): Dust-free in 10–15 min, recoat with clear within 8 hrs Compatible with HVLP and HE spray guns Not VOC compliant in EU (ready-for-use). Always finish with an Octoral clear coat.
