Where to find your Fiat paint colour code
Your Fiat's paint code is on a label inside the boot lid or under the bonnet. Here's where to look, what the code looks like, and how to find your colour if it's missing.

Where to look on your Fiat
- Inside the boot lid. Open the boot or tailgate and check the underside of the lid, around the lock and hinges, for a small label.
- Under the bonnet. On older models, check the slam panel across the front of the engine bay, the bulkhead at the back of it, and the tops of the suspension turrets.
- Door jamb. Open the driver's door and check the B-pillar, the upright between the front and rear doors, for a label or plate. If it's not there, try the passenger side.
What the code looks like
Fiat codes are usually three digits, such as 249 (Bianco Banchisa), 632 (Nero) or 293 (Rosso Passione). Some are followed by a year in our list, like 612:05.

One paint. It dries to a gloss finish, so no lacquer is needed.

Two-stage
Metallic, pearl and most modern colours
Basecoat, then clear lacquer over the top. Matt colours need a matt lacquer instead.

Pearl tri-coat colours
Basecoat, a pearl mid-coat, then clear lacquer. Order both paints together so they match.
