Where to find your Kia paint colour code
Kia prints its paint code on the vehicle label in the driver's door jamb, after the word PAINT. Here's where to look, how to read the label, and how to search for your code.

Where to look on your Kia
- Door jamb. Open the driver's door and check the B-pillar, the upright between the front and rear doors. If it's not there, try the passenger side.
- Under the bonnet. On some models the plate is on the slam panel across the front of the engine bay.
How to read the label
Most of the label is the manufacturer, the build date, the vehicle weights and the VIN, which you can ignore. Look on the right-hand side for the word PAINT. The code straight after it is your paint code, and the code under it after TRIM is the interior.
Kia paint codes are two or three letters and numbers, for example ABP (Aurora Black), 4SS (Silky Silver) or KLG (Steel Grey).

If the label's missing, unreadable or painted over after a respray, you've still got options:
- Ask a dealer. Call your local Kia dealership, ask for the Parts department, and give them your registration or VIN. They can look up the factory colour code.
