Where to find your Lada paint colour code
Your Lada's paint code is on the identification plate, usually under the bonnet or in the door jamb. Here's where to look, what the code looks like, and how to find your colour if it's missing.

Where to look on your Lada
- Under the bonnet. On older models, check the slam panel across the front of the engine bay, the bulkhead at the back of it, and the tops of the suspension turrets.
- Door jamb. Open the driver's door and check the B-pillar, the upright between the front and rear doors, for a label or plate. If it's not there, try the passenger side.
- Service book. Some cars have a copy of the label, or the colour written in, at the front of the service book.
What the code looks like
Lada codes are three-digit numbers, such as 202 (White) or 690 (Silver).

One paint. It dries to a gloss finish, so no lacquer is needed.

Two-stage
Metallic, pearl and most modern colours
Basecoat, then clear lacquer over the top. Matt colours need a matt lacquer instead.

Pearl tri-coat colours
Basecoat, a pearl mid-coat, then clear lacquer. Order both paints together so they match.
