Where to find your Leapmotor paint colour code
Your Leapmotor's paint code is on a label in the door jamb. Here's where to look, what the code looks like, and how to find your colour if it's missing.

Where to look on your Leapmotor
- Door jamb. Open the driver's door and check the B-pillar, the upright between the front and rear doors, for a label or plate. If it's not there, try the passenger side.
- Paperwork. The purchase invoice or the V5C logbook will at least give you the colour name, which you can search for.
What the code looks like
Leapmotor doesn't always print a paint code on the car, and where it does, the format varies by model: usually a short mix of letters and numbers. Newer brands often go by colour name alone, so the name on your paperwork is just as useful.

Solid colours
One paint. It dries to a gloss finish, so no lacquer is needed.
2 Leapmotor colours
Two-stage
Metallic, pearl and most modern colours
Basecoat, then clear lacquer over the top. Matt colours need a matt lacquer instead.
3 Leapmotor colours
Three-stage
Pearl tri-coat colours
Basecoat, a pearl mid-coat, then clear lacquer. Order both paints together so they match.
