Where to find your Lotus paint colour code
Your Lotus's paint code is on a label in the door jamb or boot. Here's where to look, what the code looks like, and how to find your colour if it's missing.

Where to look on your Lotus
- Door jamb. Open the driver's door and check the B-pillar, the upright between the front and rear doors, for a label or plate. If it's not there, try the passenger side.
- Boot. Check the sides of the boot or rear luggage area.
- Service book. Some cars have a copy of the label, or the colour written in, at the front of the service book.
What the code looks like
Lotus codes are usually a short letter-and-number code, printed alongside the colour name.

Basecoat, then clear lacquer over the top. Matt colours need a matt lacquer instead.
