Where to find your Renault paint colour code
Your Renault's paint code is on the manufacturer's plate in the door jamb. Here's where to look, what the code looks like, and how to find your colour if it's missing.

Where to look on your Renault
- Door jamb. Open the driver's door and check the B-pillar, the upright between the front and rear doors, for a label or plate. If it's not there, try the passenger side.
- Under the bonnet. On older models, check the slam panel across the front of the engine bay, the bulkhead at the back of it, and the tops of the suspension turrets.
What the code looks like
Renault codes are three characters, such as GNE (Noir Étoile), 369 (Blanc Glacier) or QNG (Blanc Minéral). On the plate they follow a two-letter prefix like TE or OV, which isn't part of the code.

One paint. It dries to a gloss finish, so no lacquer is needed.
