Where to find your Sterling paint colour code
Your Sterling's paint code is on the manufacturer's plate in the cab door pillar, if it's there at all. Here's where to look, what the code looks like, and how to find your colour if it's missing.

Where to look on your Sterling
- Cab door pillar. Open the driver's door and check the door pillar and the edge of the door for the manufacturer's plate.
- Build records. Truck paint is often ordered in the operator's own colours, so the code may only be on the build specification, which the dealer can look up from the chassis number.
What the code looks like
Sterling paint codes are usually numbers. Many trucks leave the factory in fleet colours specified by the operator, so the colour may be a company colour rather than a standard Sterling one.

- Call a Sterling dealer with the chassis number and they can look up the factory colour. If it's a fleet colour, the operator's livery spec will have it.
- Search by colour. If you know the colour name or roughly what colour it is, filter our Sterling colour codes by colour and year to narrow it down.
